November 2022, Top 5 vehicle launches

Many long-awaited bikes and cars were launched in November this year. Here are some of the top vehicle launches of the month.

Jeep Grand Cherokee

On November 17, Jeep launched the 2022 Grand Cherokee in India at a price of 77.5 lakh (ex-showroom). There is only a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine under the hood, which delivers 268bhp and 400Nm. As standard, it comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Four terrain modes are available- Auto, Sport, Mud/Sand, and Snow.

New Bajaj Pulsar P150

It was launched on November 22 in Indian markets. It costs between Rs. 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). P150’s 149.68cc single-cylinder engine produces 14.3bhp and 13.5Nm, according to the company. A 5-speed transmission is attached. There is an increase in power and torque, but only by 0.49bhp and 0.25Nm. There is a resemblance between the new Pulsar and the Pulsar N250 and N160 motorcycles.

Ultraviolette F77

In India, the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike arrived on November 24. F77 comes in two variants; a standard version costs 3.80 lakh and a top-spec Recon variant costs 4.55 lakh. F77 Recon’s electric motor produces 38bhp and 95Nm. The 10.5kWh battery pack is the largest. The special edition F77 has a power output of 40bhp and 100Nm. It comes with a 36bhp motor and 7.1kWh battery pack.

Pravaig Defy

The Defy debuted on November 25. The electric SUV starts at ₹39.5 lakh (ex-showroom). With a dual electric motor providing 402bhp and 620Nm, the electric car is built on a skateboard platform. It also features four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and ESP, as well as three levels of regeneration. A 7.2kW home charger is available for the electric vehicle. A 150kW DC charger can also refill the battery.

Toyota Innova Hycross 

On November 25, Toyota unveiled the Innova Hycross MPV. After the price structure is announced, deliveries will begin in January 2023. It is also based on Toyota’s TNGA-C platform. There are petrol and strong-hybrid powertrain options for the new Toyota.
