10 Upcoming SUVs In 2023: New SUVs are being prepared for the Indian market. We’ll see these SUVs in a couple of years. Here is a list of new SUVs coming to our market in 2023:

Maruti Suzuki will launch two new SUVs in 2023. YTB and a 5-door Jimny lifestyle SUV will be presented at the 2023 Auto Expo. Jimny will be available by mid-2023, while YTB by April 2023. Baleno Cross or YTB are based on the HEARTECT platform and powered by a 1.0L Boosterjet petrol engine. The Jimny is powered by a 1.5L K15B petrol engine with 102bhp and manual and automatic transmission options.
In 2023, Toyota will launch a new SUV Coupe based on the upcoming Baleno Cross. Globally available Yaris Cross is likely to inspire the new SUV Coupe. Compared to Maruti’s YTB SUV Coupe, the new model will have a raked window line, shorter rear quarter glass, and angular roof spoiler. Suzuki’s 1.0L 3-cylinder Boosterjet turbo petrol engine will power it. Also possible is a 1.2L Dualjet petrol engine with a manual and AMT.
XUV400 electric and Thar 5-door will be launched by Mahindra in 2023. XUV400 prices will be revealed in January 2023 and deliveries will begin in February or March. A 39.4kWh battery pack powers the front-axle electric motor. It offers 150bhp and 310Nm. It accelerates from 0-100kmph in 8.3 seconds and reaches 150kmph electronically. On a single charge, it has a certified range of 456km. By mid-2023, the Thar 5-door will be launched. With a longer wheelbase, it will offer more space in the second row and a larger boot. With manual and automatic transmissions, the SUV will retain a 2.0L NA petrol and 2.2L turbo-diesel.
Tata Motors will launch the facelifted Harrier and Safari SUVs in 2023. At the 2023 Auto Expo in January, both models will be unveiled. New models will have upgraded interiors and designs. With the new Harrier & Safari facelifts, advance driver assistance system (ADAS) features such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and lane assist will be available. SUVs could also get larger touchscreens.
In 2023, Hyundai will launch the Ai3 subcompact SUV and the Creta facelift. Auto Expo 2023 is likely to see both models debut. Hyundai’s new Ai3 subcompact SUV will rival Tata Punch and Maruti Baleno Cross by mid-2023. The new model will use the K1 platform and have a 1.2L petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission. Creta facelift is expected in 2023. ADAS and design changes will be included.
In 2023, Kia India will launch the new Seltos. With a panoramic sunroof and a new design, the new model is loaded with features. ADAS tech will also be offered on the Creta facelift. A new 1.5L turbo petrol engine and CNG fuel option are also expected.
Honda will launch a new compact SUV in 2023. Using the new City platform, the new model will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder. A 1.5L petrol engine with e:HEV technology is expected.
